Privacy Policy

Who we are
SEO Dons Ltd operates this website (solarpanelsforbarns.co.uk). For the purposes of UK GDPR, we are the data controller. You can contact us at privacy@seodons.co.uk or by post at 71-75 Shelton Street, London, WC2H 9JQ.
What information we collect
- Information you provide: name, email, phone, postcode, and details about your premises when you complete a quote or contact form.
- Automatic information: IP address (anonymised), browser type, pages visited. We use privacy-respecting analytics that do not require cookie consent.
- Cookies: we use essential session cookies only. We do not use marketing or tracking cookies without explicit consent.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and pass it to a suitable installer who can provide a quotation.
- To follow up if your initial enquiry doesn't progress immediately.
- To improve our services (aggregated analytics only).
- To comply with legal obligations.
Lawful basis for processing
We rely on (a) legitimate interests when responding to your enquiry, and (b) consent when you opt in to ongoing communication. You can withdraw consent at any time.
How long we keep your data
Quote enquiries are retained for 24 months. After that, we delete or anonymise. This site does not contract for installation works, so it holds no customer contract data; any contract you enter is with the installer, under their own privacy notice.
Who we share your data with
- Form submissions are processed by Formspree (USA) under their privacy policy.
- If you ask for a quote or feasibility summary, we pass your enquiry — including the site details you provide — to an installer who can price the work, and we may be paid a fee or commission for that introduction. We do not sell your details to lead brokers or mailing lists.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict processing, port it, and object to processing. Contact privacy@seodons.co.uk to exercise any of these rights. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Security
We apply industry-standard security measures: TLS for all data in transit, encrypted at rest where applicable, restricted access to authorised personnel only.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. The date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Material changes will be communicated to subscribers directly.
